These aluminised steel mandrel bends by GASO provide superior thermal reflectivity and corrosion resistance compared to untreated mild steel. The tube features a 2.5" outside diameter in mild steel is coated internally and externally with an aluminium-silicon alloy, enhancing oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures. For MIG or TIG welding, it is critical to mechanically remove the coating around the weld zone to expose clean base metal to ensure full penetration and structural integrity. Can be used with clamps also.
