This GASO chrome thermostat housing features a single outlet design for Holden V8 engines. Precision manufactured for a secure fit, it replaces the factory water neck and includes a polished chrome finish for a premium look. See GPP-3878 for the twin outlet version.

Supplied with the GASO Peak Performance high flow thermostat (GPP-3894), a 54mm conventional flat thermostat that opens at 82°C (180°F). It is built in copper and brass and designed to resist the coolant pressure changes that can affect conventional thermostats at high RPM, so it opens consistently in street, drag racing and oval track use. It interchanges with Mr. Gasket 4364 and Aeroflow AF49-1044.

This kit uses a conventional 54mm thermostat with no bypass foot. It will not suit Ford Cleveland V8 engines, which need an extended-foot bypass thermostat such as the Dayco DT66A.
