This GASO thermostat housing is designed to fit Holden 6 cylinder motors, providing a reliable replacement for factory water necks. Whether you are doing a restoration or routine maintenance, this quality unit ensures proper coolant flow and temperature control, with a clean factory-style chrome look.
Supplied with the GASO Peak Performance high flow thermostat (GPP-3894), a 54mm conventional flat thermostat that opens at 82°C (180°F). It is built in copper and brass and designed to resist the coolant pressure changes that can affect conventional thermostats at high RPM, so it opens consistently in street, drag racing and oval track use. It interchanges with Mr. Gasket 4364 and Aeroflow AF49-1044.

This kit uses a conventional 54mm thermostat with no bypass foot. It will not suit Ford Cleveland V8 engines, which need an extended-foot bypass thermostat such as the Dayco DT66A.
