This 45-degree O-ring style chrome thermostat housing (water neck) is designed for early Chevrolet V8 engines built between 1955 and 1965. Suited to restorations, hot rods, and performance builds, it combines classic looks with modern sealing. The O-ring style design gives a leak-free seal, the extra-thick 12mm base resists warping, and the angled 45-degree outlet improves radiator hose alignment on classic Chevy applications.

Supplied with the Tridon TT2000-180 high flow thermostat, which opens at 82°C (180°F) and has an enlarged valve opening for up to 30% greater coolant flow than conventional Tridon TT1 series thermostats. Its integrated jiggle pin assists air bleeding when filling the system. Tridon list this thermostat as suiting Small Block Chevy 283, 307, 327, 350, 400 and Big Block Chevy 396, 427, 454.
