This O-ring style chrome thermostat housing (water neck) from GASO Performance Products is designed for 1966 to 1975 Chevrolet V8 engines, including small block and big block applications. Precision die-cast zinc construction with a show-quality chrome finish gives corrosion resistance and a clean look. The O-ring seal replaces traditional paper gaskets, the extra-thick 12mm base resists warping under high clamping loads, and the 30-degree angled spout improves hose routing.

Supplied with the Tridon TT2000-180 high flow thermostat, which opens at 82°C (180°F) and has an enlarged valve opening for up to 30% greater coolant flow than conventional Tridon TT1 series thermostats. Its integrated jiggle pin assists air bleeding when filling the system. Tridon list this thermostat as suiting Small Block Chevy 283, 307, 327, 350, 400 and Big Block Chevy 396, 427, 454.
