A recovery towbar replaces both the standard towbar and rear recovery points, with the TAG Extreme range built around an 89 x 89mm reinforced crossbar and two integrated recovery points rated at 4500kg WLL each, with bevelled edges suited to soft shackles. The flush chassis-mounted profile preserves ground clearance and departure angle compared with bars that hang below the rear bar. Fitment is strictly vehicle specific, including body style differences such as cab chassis with or without a rear step, so confirm your model and build date carefully. For recovery use, follow rated recovery practice with rated shackles and bridles, and never recover from the tow ball itself.
