Carburettors

New carburettors including genuine Holley two and four barrel models from 350 to 750 CFM, plus 32/36 DGV Weber style carbs with electric choke for Ford Escort applications. Options cover street, strip and oval track use with vacuum secondary and double pumper designs. Match CFM rating, choke type and manifold flange to your engine combination before ordering.

Choosing a carburettor starts with CFM. A common guide for four barrel carbs is engine cubic inches multiplied by maximum RPM, divided by 3456 - a street 350 rarely needs more than 600 CFM, and over-carburetting costs drivability. Vacuum secondary carbs suit street cars and automatics because the secondaries open with engine demand, while mechanical secondary double pumpers suit manual cars and strip use. Choke type matters for daily driving: electric chokes handle cold starts automatically, manual chokes give direct control. Check your manifold flange pattern matches, and confirm fuel pressure is within the carburettor's rating before fitting.
